Main floor refresh
This project began with a simple goal: give the main level a fresh start without losing the character that makes the home feel lived in. We approached the floor as a single, connected space, updating the elements that shape how it looks and feels every day. Walls, lighting, hardware, and finishes were all refreshed together, so the result feels cohesive rather than like a series of separate updates. The main floor now has a brighter, more open presence, with an easy flow from the entry through the living and dining areas and into the kitchen.

Crisp whites and warm tones mixed with blue accents
The color story is the heart of this design. Crisp white walls and trim create a clean, light-filled backdrop, while warm tones in the wood, textiles, and décor keep the spaces inviting and grounded. Blue accents add depth and a touch of personality, appearing in pillows, artwork, ceramics, and select furnishings. We kept the blues varied, from soft and airy to deeper and more saturated, so they feel layered rather than matched. The balance of bright, warm, and cool tones gives the home a timeless, welcoming character that works in every season and every kind of light.

Extension of wood flooring paired with updated finishes throughout
One of the most impactful changes was extending the wood flooring across the main level. Continuous flooring removes visual breaks between rooms, making the space feel larger, calmer, and more unified. We paired it with updated finishes throughout, including refreshed paint, modern lighting, and new hardware and fixtures that complement the warmth of the wood. Details like trim, transitions, and hardware were chosen carefully so that every surface works together. The result is a polished, seamless look that elevates the whole floor.

Our Approach

Every project we take on starts with listening. We look at how our clients live, then build a design that supports their routines while reflecting their style. For this home, that meant choosing a palette and materials that feel fresh and modern but remain comfortable and practical. We managed the details from concept to installation, so the finished space feels intentional and complete.

The Result

A main floor that feels brighter, warmer, and more connected than ever. The mix of crisp whites, warm wood, and blue accents creates a calm, sophisticated atmosphere that welcomes guests and makes everyday living a pleasure. It is a clear example of how thoughtful updates can transform a home.
